Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 2 cups maida


  • 1/2 tsp yeast


  • 3/4 cups milk


  • 1/2 nos egg


  • 1/8 tsp sugar


  • 2 tbsp butter


  • 2/3 cups fillling ingredients:coconut


  • 2/3 cups butter


  • Butter 2 tbsp


  • 1/2 cups khoya


  • 1-2 drop orange food color as required


  • 1/8 cups powdered sugar


  • 2 tbsp milk

Directions

  • In a bowl, take maida, yeast, milk, egg, salt, sugar and butter and mix it. Make a dough.
  • Mix coconut, sugar, milk, butter, egg, khoya and red colour, coconut mixture is ready.
  • Cut the dough in to 4 equal pieces. Gently roll it and put the coconut mixture.
  • Then pinch the edges to seal it. Gently roll it again cut the piece 12 times, then turn over each piece.
  • Put in to a baking pan and let it rest for 20 min. Brush egg and decorate them if you want bake for about 20 min at 350 F
  • Serve it.
